Eileen L. Schreiter

Eileen L. Schreiter, 71, of S. Richard Street, Bedford, died Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She was born on May 25, 1944, in Reading, a daughter, of the late Clarence A. and Evelyn I. (Walker) Fields. On May 1, 1965, at Bern Church, in Leesport, she married Harold L. Schreiter, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2002. She is survived by three daughters: Teri L. Ritchey, of New Port Ritchey, FL, Lori A. Himmler, of Piscataway, NJ, and Staci L. Schreiter-Whitfield, wife of Edward, of Bedford; five grandchildren: Kurtis B. Himmler, Laura E. Himmler, Haylee E. Schreiter, Ariana J. Cruz, and Alexa D. Cruz; three step-grandchildren: Devin S., Jordyn T., and Brianna D. Whitfield; three brothers: Larry A. Fields, Randall A. Fields, and Damon A. Fields; a sister, Lugene A. (Fields) (Norton) Eyrich; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother: Brian E. Fields.
Mrs. Schreiter volunteered with the Bedford Area Senior Center, and enjoyed cooking, puzzles, crafts, and gardening. She had many friends, and was enjoyed by all who knew her.
