E. Jeanne Fetters

E. Jeanne Fetters 87 of Donahoe Manor Nursing Home, Bedford, died Saturday March 31, 2007 at the home. She was born March 10, 1920 in Antioch, Neb., daughter of the late Everett and Alice (Jones) Godwin. On June 15, 1943 in Cumberland, she married Kenneth M. Fetters and he survives along with a son Gary Fetters and wife Ardith of Mechanicsburg., one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and families and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Carl Godwin and a sister Doris Rawlings.
Mrs. Fetters was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church. She worked in the office at Bedford Steam Laundry for 20 years, prior to that she worked at Fulton Bank in McConnellsburg and Commercial Bank and Trust in Parkersburg, WV. She was a 1938 graduate of Allegheny High School, and attended Salisburg State Teachers College and Catherman’s Business School in Cumberland.
Funeral services: Tuesday 2:00 PM in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating. Burial at the Everett Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
