Dorothy J. Weyant

Dorothy J. Weyant, 71, of Spring Street Bedford, died Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Center.  She was born on November 28, 1936 in Bedford, a daughter of the late David L. and Margaret (Dunkle) Price. On April 20, 1957 in Bedford, she married the late Robert L.”Muss” Weyant Sr. who preceded her in death on May 18, 1998.  She is survived by the following family, two daughters:  Karen S. wife of Donald G. Oyler Jr., Sherry L. Price and one son, Robert L. Weyant Jr. all of Bedford, seven  grandchildren:  Shane Weyant and wife Naomi, Leland Weyant III, Alexa Weyant, Steven Oyler, Shala Oyler, Shaun Wertz, & Charity Price, three great grandchildren:  Trenton Weyant, Braiden Weyant and Landon Lafferty. One sister, Ellen Hahn of Akron, Oh, and one brother, Bernard Price and wife Roxy of Bedford. She was preceded in death by four brothers:  Fred, Earl, Kenneth, and Donald Price, and one sister Catherine Gates.

She formely worked at the Bedford Gazette and prior to that worked at Bedford coin laundry.

Funeral Services on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Rev. Rich Fogal officiating.  Burial in Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the funeral home.
