Dorothy E. Otto

Dorothy E. Otto, 93 of Homewood Nursing Home in Martinsburg, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the home.  She was born July 20, 1916 in St. Clairsville, daughter

Of the late Carl A. and Lillie M. (Stambaugh) Fickes.  On June 10, 1943, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in St. Clairsville, she married Paul D. Otto and he preceded her in death on April 25, 1989.  She is survived by two nieces; Barbara Hershberger of Osterburg and Janice Huntsman of Bedford, a nephew Alan King of Bedford, a great great niece; Amy wife of Jesse Day of Osterburg and a sister-in-law Anna Mae Swartz of Everett.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Maybeth King.

Mrs. Otto was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in St. Clairsville and had worked as a legal secretary for a law firm in Columbus, Ohio for many years.

Funeral Services: Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in St. Clairsville with Rev. Donna Wolfinger officiating.  Burial at the Osterburg Community Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
