Dorothy Fay Imler, 87, of Messiah Church Road, Bedford, died Wednesday evening, September 19, 2012 at her residence. She was born December 11, 1924 in Bordertown, a daughter of the late Percy P. and Cornelia (Shank) Replogle. She was married to E. Lester Imler, and he preceded her in death on December 6, 1982. She is survived by a son Galen E. Imler of Bedford and a daughter Cornelia Ann “Kitti” Swaynos and husband James of McCalla, AL, two granddaughters; Michelle Boyd and husband Bobby, of Longview, TX, and Jennifer Price of McCalla, AL. Also surviving are four great granddaughters; Ashlee, and Baylee Boyd, Samantha and Cassidy Price and great grandson, Robert James “R.J.“ Price, and a brother Donald “Pete” Replogle and wife Lillian of Manns Choice. She was preceded in death by a brother Park Replogle.
Mrs. Imler was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Pastor Donna Wolfinger officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.
