Dorotha F. Hartung, 88, of East Watson Street Bedford, died Sunday, February 19, 2006 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 11, 1917 in Marietta, Oh, a daughter of the late Ross T. and Hattie B. (Babb) Garard. On April 24, 1943 in Marietta, Oh she married the late Richard S. Hartung, who preceded her in death on February 15, 2001. She is survived by a son, Kenneth A. Hartung of Bedford. She was preceded in death by 1 sister Vera Garard Wise.
She was a member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church.. She also worked part time at Seager and Seager and Bedford Carpets.
Funeral Services Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at 11:00 AM from the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Rev. Doug Friant officiating. Burial in Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Monday from 7-9 PM, at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
