Doris Mae (Stufft) Mcdonald

Doris Mae (Stufft) McDonald 86, of Osterburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 11:44 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.  She was born on November 25, 1937 in Alum Bank, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Erma Stufft.  On August 16, 1958 at the Weyant Church she married Bernard A. McDonald Sr., who survives along with three children: Bernard A. McDonald Jr and wife Cheri A. (Custer), of Imler, Timothy J. McDonald and wife Lindy L. (Chamberlain), of Osterburg, and Michelle D. (McDonald) Sheirer and husband Rodney, of New Paris; five grandchildren: Jared N. McDonald and wife Nicole (Lightner), of Lock Haven, Cara N. (McDonald) Johnson and husband Trevor, of Bedford, Aaron R. McDonald, of Bedford, Benjamin J. Sheirer, of Bedford, Jordan A. McDonald, of Osterburg; a step-granddaughter Jamie Spiker, of Bedford, three great-grandchildren: Aviana, Amelia, and Elyse; and three siblings: Gary Stufft, of Ohio, Louise Weyandt, of Claysburg, and Ersel Reynolds, of Christiana.  She was preceded in death by two infant granddaughters: Clarissa Sheirer and Lindsay McDonald; a grandson Zachary Sheirer; and four siblings: Dorothy Valentine, Leona Barger, William Stufft and Alan Stufft.

Doris was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., at the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church, with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating.  Burial at Mt. Union Cemetery, in Lovely.  Friends will be received on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
