Doris J. Stoner-Campbell, 89, of Upper Snake Spring Valley Road, Everett, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Meadow View Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born on February 15, 1924, in Friendsville, MD a daughter of the late Playford and Vespie (Fike) Thomas. She was preceded in death by her first husband George Stoner in 1974 and her second husband Charles Campbell in 2000. She is survived by a son Thomas T. Stoner and wife Lois of Everett, two daughters: Shelley K. Bradley and husband Robert of Lee’s Summit MO, and Shawn J. Stoner-Brennan and husband Timothy of Venice, FL; a step-son Kevin Campbell of Crystal River, FL; two grandchildren: Erinn and Cody Bradley.
Doris was a graduate of Ligonier High School class of 1941. She was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ and retired from Bedford School District in 1985.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Pastor Joseph Puleo officiating.
