Doris Lorraine Rutledge, 77, of South Richard Street, Bedford, died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on May 13, 1928 in Green County, A daughter of the late James and Mary Ellen (Prescott) Chadwick. On May 30, 1959 in Aliquippa, She married James W. Rutledge, and he who survives along with the following family, a daughter, Sandra Diane wife of David Scott of Heston, 2 grandchildren: Jerry married to the former Terry Persons and Wendy Shaffer fiancée of Todd Trexler. 4 great grandchildren: Brittani, Jordann, Tyler, & Kasey. 6 step-great grandchildren. 2 brothers, Fred Chadwick and wife Betty of Saxton, and James Chadwick and wife Alice of Defiance. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters
She was a member of the Raystown Brethren Church.
A memorial service will be held in the Lobby at Fort Bedford Inn Apartments on Sunday at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Dan Hammel officiating. Funeral arrangements by Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
