Donald R. Davison

Donald Davison, 85, of Bedford, died on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 29, 1940 in Long Branch, NJ, a son of the late Wilbert and Grace (Wilbert) Davison. On February 12, 1961 in Long Branch, NJ, he married Nancy (Denbow) Davison who preceded him in death on August 16, 2021.  He is survived by two sons: Donald Davison of Howell, NJ; and Jeff Davison and wife Rachel of Bedford; three grandchildren:  Laurie Rae, Daniel Davison, and Hannah Davison; six great-grandchildren:  Michael, Derrick, Kayla, James, Kinsley, Faith and one on the way baby Hope.  He was preceded in death by one sister Patty Davison. Donald was a member of the Bedford Valley Bible Church and family was always most important to him.  He worked his whole life as a letter carrier for Long Branch Post Office in New Jersey. In high school he held the cross country track record for Long Branch High School.  He also enjoyed coaching his kids growing up in all the sports they played in.
