Donald E. Clark

Donald E. Clark, 90, of Bedford, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at Donahoe Manor.  He was born on August 11, 1934 in Woodbury, a son of the late Andrew and Helen (Helsel) Clark. He is survived by four children: Martin Clark and wife Tracie, of Middletown, Robin Arnold and husband Raymond, Kenneth Clark widower of Janet, and Michele Eckard and husband Jeff, all of Bedford; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four siblings: Darlene Sauters, of Osterburg, Marie Douglas, of Charleston, WV, Alverta Ritchey, of Bedford, and Bonnie Shippley, of Bedford; and his former wife Della Jane Scritchfield, of Bedford.  He was preceded in death by three siblings: Florence Herline, Ray Clark, and Luther Clark; three grandchildren: Jared Mummy, Dustin Clark, and Justin Clark; and a great-granddaughter, Daphne Arnold.

Donald retired in 1999 after 32 years at Hedstrom.  He was a member of the Bedford Church of the Nazarene.  Donald enjoyed walking around and talking to people at Walmart and Weis, and getting morning coffee with his friends at McDonalds.  He was a wonderful father and grandfather.  The family wishes to thank the staff at Donahoe Manor: Elyzabeth, Alexis, Joyce, Shayla, Kayla, and Jesselyn; and UPMC Family Hospice: Jada, Stacey, and Krista.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Chris Lyons officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Monday, from 10:00 a.m., until the hour of the service.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
