Donald D. Adams, 64 of E. Penn St., Bedford, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. He was born August 28, 1945 in Allegheny County, son of the late Lester S. and Mary Adams. He is survived by a half brother Herbert Adams of Cleveland, Ohio, numerous nieces and nephews, and his extended local family, the Koontz and the Virginia Lankey families. He was preceded in death by three sisters; Virginia, Helen, Shirley, and three brothers; William, Robert and his twin Ronald.
Mr. Adams worked as a truck driver most of his life, and in recent years was in charge of maintenance at H. Eugene Koontz Bulk Milk Transport in Friends Cove.
Memorial services: Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Rev. Doug Friant officiating. Burial at the Berlin IOOF Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
