Denny R. Fisher

Denny R. Fisher 29, of Margate City, NJ, formerly of Bedford, passed away January 13, 2019.  He was born on June 7, 1989 in Windber, a son of Glenn C. Fisher Jr., and Gale Stottlemyer, both of Bedford.  He is survived by the following family: a sister, Emily Wertz, and husband Travis, of Bedford; a nephew, Noah Wertz; maternal grandmother, Janet Stottlemyer; paternal grandmother, Mary Alice McMillen, three aunts: Melody Fisher, LuAnn Risser and husband Bob, and Gwen Schaeffer and husband Dave; two uncles, Greg Stottlemyer and wife Tonyia, and Guy Stottlemyer; and four cousins.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, William Stottlemyer, paternal grandfather, Glenn C. Fisher Sr.; and an aunt Gaye Slack.

Denny was a 2007 graduate of Bedford Area High School. He then attended Shippensburg University and obtained his B.A. in English in 2012, and his Masters in Public Administration in 2014.  He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers games.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Lay Minister Jim Miller officiating.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 30, from 5 – 7 p.m., at the funeral home.      Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
