David E. Price

David E. Price, 72, of Hampton Drive, Alum Bank, died Friday, April 18, 2014 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  He was born on July 25, 1941, in Alum Bank, a son of the late Howard and Ila (Fleegle) Price.  On December 2, 1961, in Alum Bank, he married his wife of 52 years,Sandra (Feaster) Price, who survives along with the following family: a son David Price, and wife Melody, of New Paris, a daughter, Lori Ickes, and husband Michael, of East Freedom, and a son Brad Price, and wife Stefanie, of Fishertown; five grandchildren: Ethan, Aubrey, Emma, Levi Price, and Kylee Ickes; a sister, Betty Custer, and husband Calvin of Fishertown, and two brothers: Stanford Price, of Alum Bank, and Dan Price, of Imler, and numerous nieces, and nephews.   He was preceded in death by a daughter Valerie Kay, and a brother Charles Price, widow Connie Price, surviving of Kingsport, TN.

Mr. Price was the Vice-President of Allen & Hoven, Inc., of Springfield, VA, and owner and president, of P&W, Inc.  he attended the Life Church in Windber, and the Pleasantville Assembly of God, in Alum Bank.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Richard Smith officiating.  Burial at Fishertown Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service, on Wednesday.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com
