David H. James 82, of Rainsburg, died Friday, November 17, 2017. He was born on August 12, 1935 in Rainsburg, a son of the late Harold G. and Ruth (Cessna) James. He is survived by the following family: a daughter, Margaret Ann Beshore and husband Brad, of Sarasota, FL, a daughter, Mary Jo O’Brien, and husband Tom, of Bedford, a son, David James Jr, of Highlands, NC, a son, Michael James of Bedford, and a daughter, Brandy Price and husband Travis, of Clearville; five grandchildren: Pam, Becky, Brandon, McKynlea, and Wyatt; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Kathryn Piper, Mary Reta Treiber; and a brother: William Nycum.
Dave was a retired truck driver and a jack of all trades. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing. An avid sportsman, he never missed a Steelers or Pirates game. The loves of his life were his grandchildren, Wyatt and McKynlea.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., at the Woods Church, in Rainsburg, with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford. Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
