Rev. Daryl Dawson

Rev. Daryl “Doc” Dawson 65 of 176 Chalybeate Road, Bedford, died Friday in Fort Worth, TX. Born in Johnstown, March 31, 1943, son of the late John M. and Ethel Verda (Ellis) Dawson.  Survived  by wife the former Sandra Cheryl (Gainer), two daughters: Kim wife of John Parrish of Ft. Worth, TX, Jenny Dawson of Bedford, two sons: Julius Dawson of Dallas, TX and Billy Dawson of Birmingham, WA, brother John Dawson of Jacksonville, FL and sister Joyce wife of Paul Blough of Jennerstown. Preceded in death by a sister Elaine Schmidt.

Rev. Dawson operated a prison aftercare for inmates and was the Pastor at Canan Station Mennonite Church.

Funeral services: Thursday 3:00 p.m., at Chalybeate Springs, 176 Chalybeate Rd., Bedford where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. and on Thursday from 9-11 a.m., and from 1-3 p.m. Arrangements by Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
