Darrin W. Wilson

Darrin W. Wilson 40 of Bedford died Saturday, December 11, 2021.  He was born on January 28, 1981 in Bedford a son of Barney Holland and wife Debra, of Bedford and Judy (Wilson) Brumbaugh, of Saxton.  He is survived by a daughter Grace Marie Wilson; seven siblings: Shanda Novak and husband Thomas, of Cresson, Stacey Heikkila and husband Todd, of Phoenixville, Jen Hammel and husband Tom, of Roaring Spring, Brandy Locke and husband Lewis, of Bedford, Ryan Patterson and wife Ashley, of Pleasantville, Crystal Wilson, of Indiana, and Jeffrey Patterson an wife Ashley, of Bedford; paternal grandmother Hazel Davis, of Wolfsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Harry and Elva Wilson.

Darrin led worship, and played his guitar and sang at numerous churches in the area, as well as local correctional facilities, and rehab ministries.  He had a sincere passion and talent in his ministries and had a deep love for the Lord.  Darrin was known as a very kind hearted and genuine gentleman, who was never mean or angry with anyone.  He was always willing to lend a hand or help someone in need.  His daughter Grace always looked forward to the next time she got to see her “Da-Da”, and he immensely enjoyed his time he got to spend with his Love Bug.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 6:00 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Pastor Ryan Patterson officiating.  Friends will be received on Friday, from 4-6 p.m., at the funeral home.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
