Daniel E. Replogle

Daniel E. Replogle, 84 of Bedford, died Friday, July 11, 2008 at his residence. He was born on February 11, 1924 at Hollidaysburg, a son of the late H. Earl and Carrie Romaine (Walls) Replogle. On May 5, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, he married Mildred N. Crist and she survives along with a daughter, Debbie L. wife of Monte Rosentrater of Bedford a daughter, Darlene K. wife of Roger Price of Everett, a son, Daniel E. Replogle Jr. married to the former Barbara Fisher of Gardners, and five grandchildren: Clint Rosentrater and wife Dru, Roger L. Price Jr. and wife Nora, Paul Daniel Price, Daniel E. Replogle III, Sara Ann Replogle, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter Patricia Ann Price
Mr. Replogle was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Bedford, and was retired a building contractor. During WWII he was a Merchant Marine, serving in the Atlantic, Pacific and Middle Eastern Theatres. He was a founding member of the Daniel Boone Camp, and bowled on the Continental All Stars
Funeral Services: Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, with the Pastor Joseph Puleo officiating. Burial in Bedford County Memorial Park.
