Dana L. Burkett

Dana L. Burkett, 66, of Alum Bank, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at UPMC Altoona with his family by his side telling him how much they loved him. He was born on July 6, 1959 in Bedford, a son of the late Clyde L. and B. Jane (McKnight) Burkett. On October 31, 1999 in Bedford, he united with his companion, Edna Hafer and she survives along with two daughters: Breanna Burkett and fiancé Zackary of East Freedom, and Britney Burkett of Alum Bank; two sons: Elijah and Isaiah Burkett, both of Alum Bank; and a sister: Carol Dodson and husband David of Manns Choice. He was preceded in death by an infant brother.

Dana enjoyed hunting, fishing, putting together model cars, anything to do with animals, flea markets, cookouts, and spending time with his family.
