Dale Eugene Weyant

Dale Eugene Weyant, 84, of Bedford died unexpectedly on January 22, 2026 at UPMC Altoona. He was born on August 9, 1941 in Reynoldsdale, a son of the late Raymond C. Sr. and Twyla (Ellis) Weyant. On April 28, 1973 in Bedford, he married Teresa (Arnold) Weyant and she survives along with two sons: Damon Weyant and wife Leigh Anne (Shingleton) of Bedford, and Garrick Weyant of Aurora, CO; a daughter: Teresa Nicole Bullington and husband Ben of Manns Choice; four grandchildren: Kyler Weyant, Molly, Moira, and John Bullington; two brothers: Ray C. Weyant Jr. and wife Linda of Bedford, and Carl S. Weyant and wife Susan of Reynoldsdale; and many nieces and nephews.

Dale attended Chestnut Ridge High School before joining the US Army and then worked at UPMC Bedford Hospital for many years as a lab technician. He was a member and organist of St. John’s Catholic Church in Everett, a former Exalted Ruler of the Bedford Elks Lodge #1707, and was involved with the Bedford County Players. He was known by many for his delicious cakes and beautiful floral arrangements. He enjoyed being in his garden, painting, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Everett with Father Derek Fairman, Celebrant. Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Dale’s name to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Thomas Church, 215 East Penn Street, Bedford, PA 15522.
