Craig Lavelle Horner

Craig Lavelle Horner, 68, of Bedford, died on June 13, 2017, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1948, in Williamsport, a son of the late Lavelle and Mildred (Strandquest) Horner. On June 19, 1993 in Johnstown, he married Lori (Brosius) Horner who survives along with an uncle, Ed Strandquest of Johnstown, numerous cousins, as well as a faithful companion, a dog named Georgie.
Craig graduated from Central Cambria High School Class of 1966. He received a bachelor’s degree from Ashland College in Ohio and retired from the Cambria County Department on Aging. He was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church and enjoyed boating, fishing, and traveling. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Pastor Dan Oldham and Pastor Frank Brosius officiating.
