Cora Y. Isaacson

Cora Y. Isaacson, 86, of Bedford, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.  She was born on September 26, 1920 in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of the late Elvon E. and Catherine (Goettman) Young. On October 30, 1943 she married Dr. John J. Isaacson and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2005. She is survived by a son Judge Rodger J. Isaacson and wife Cheryl of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and 4 grandchildren Molly, Peter, Matthew and Steven.  She was preceded in death by 1 son James Reed Young Isaacson.

She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church, and was a avid stamp collector.

Graveside service will be Today, April 4, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Bedford Cemetery, with The Rev’d Philip Houghton officiating. There will be no visitation. There will be a memorial service Saturday May 5, 2007, at 10:00 AM from the St. James Episcopal Church, in Bedford.  Those wishing may make contributions to the St. James Episcopal Church, 309 South Richard Street, Bedford, Pa. 15522, in Mrs. Isaacson’s name.  Arrangements by Timothy A.
