Connie D. Eshelman, 55, of Sunnyside Road, Bedford, died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born in Everett, on January 5, 1957, a daughter of the late Russell Wertz, and Freda (Miller) Wertz and Glenn Sides of Manns Choice. On April 1, 1978, in Bedford, she married Bill Eshelman who survives along with the following family; two sons, Denny and Brad Eshelman both of Bedford, two grandchildren Jaret and Meah, four sisters, Rhonda Dively and husband Donald of Bedford, Cathy Fix and husband Scott of TX, Pamela Barnes and husband Kevin, Sandra Smith and husband Mike all of Bedford, three brothers, David Wertz and wife Valerie of Schellsburg, Earl Wertz and wife Eddie, and Russell Wertz Jr. all of Bedford.
Connie worked at various places in Bedford such as the Bedford Springs before its renovations, the Bedford Village and the Gazette. She enjoyed baking and taking care of her children and grandchildren, she was always there for her family, putting their needs before her own.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Mark Dillow officiating.
