Clyde J. Long

Clyde J. Long, 88, of Bohn Road, Bedford, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at his residence. He was born on April 5, 1921, in Osterburg, a son, of the late William A. and Mary M. (Naugle) Long. On June 6, 1965 in Osterburg, he married Stella May Weyant and she preceded him in death on June 25, 2008. He is survived by a son Lowell Weyant married to the former Debbie Hoover of Indiana, two grandchildren Jason and Jamie, two sister -in-laws Helen widow of Bernard Weyant of Osterburg and Marjorie wife of Donald Fyfe of New Paris. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Elizabeth and Ethel Long.
He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Osterburg and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with the Rev. Charlie Miller officiating. Burial at St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
