Clyde D. Calhoun

Clyde D. Calhoun, 62, of Chalybeate Road Bedford, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at his residence.  He was born on April 11, 1945 in Everett, A son of the late Simon and Maude (Clark) Calhoun. On June 7, 1965 in Bedford, He married Cheryl Lynn Ickes and she survives along with the following family, two sons, Shawn Calhoun married to the former Bridget Delaney of Sewickley, Christian married to the former Michelle McGill of Bedford, three grandchildren Tristan, Drew, & Josh, and the following brothers and sisters Robert W. Calhoun and wife Vicky,  Marvin J. Calhoun and wife Marian, Pauline R. wife of Coy Pee,  Allen E. Calhoun and wife JoAnn, Dean E. Calhoun and wife Judith all of Everett , Arlene R. wife of Lloyd Strait of Harrisonville, Vera Mae widow of Virgil Ramsey of Crystal Spring, Willard N. Calhoun of Summerville, SC,  Leo W. Calhoun and wife Leanna of New Enterprise, and a much loved cat named Precious. He had an angel of a sister-in-law Connie Ickes.  He was preceded in death by one grandson Hunter, one sister Louise and an infant brother.

He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Everett.  He was owner and operator of Clyde’s used cars for many years.  His passion was restoring cars and motor homes.

Funeral Services on Saturday, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Inc. in Bedford, with Robert Snyder officiating, burial in Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Friday from 6-9 PM and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those wishing may make contributions in Clyde’s name to the Humane Society of Bedford County, 1108 Lutzville Road, Everett, Pa. 15537.
