Clinton A. Clark

Clinton A. Clark, 74, of Woodside Street, Bedford died Friday, January 29, 2016 at his residence.  He was born on May 25, 1941, in Clairton, a son of the late Randolph B. and Betty J. (Grimes) Clark.  On April 14, 1960 in Winchester, VA he married Judith (Beegle) Clark, who survives along with the following family: a daughter Tracy wife of Scott Russell, of Waynesboro, VA, a son Todd Clark married to the former Cathy Morris, of Wiesbaden, Germany, a son Tyler Clark married to the former Beverly Hatch, of Sheldon, IA, and a daughter Amy wife of Gary Rummell, of New Paris; 12 grandchildren: Ashley and Taylore Russell, Christina Clark, Jennifer Konrath, Emily Baker, Anna and Lindsay Clark, Brianne and Meghan Foor, Abigail, Teddy, and Tyler Rummell; one great-grandchild on the way; a brother Harry E. Clark and wife Joyce, of Camp Hill, and two sisters: Shelda Diehl and husband Donald, of Hanover, and Bonnie Galvin, of Florida.

Clinton was a graduate of Everett High School, and served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 10 years.  He then retired in 2010 from ABF Freight as an operation supervisor.  He enjoyed golfing, reading, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 12:00 p.m., at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Doug Friant, officiating.  Burial at Mt. Union Cemetery, in Mench, with full military rites conducted by the Everett Area Honor Guard.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the church.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions in Clifton’s name to: Bedford Presbyterian Church, 145 S.
