Clifford A. Peck

Clifford Alan Peck, 63, of Forest Ave., Bedford, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012.  He was born on June 12, 1948, in Corning, NY, a son, of the late Clifford L. Peck and Madeline (Domm) Peck-Smith surviving of Painted Post, NY.  On January 18, 1969 in Bath, NY, He married Cathy J. McGill and she survives along with a son, Clifford Scott married to the former Angela Schneider of Mercer, a daughter, Valerie wife of Ryan Mackey of Duncansville, five grandchildren:  Clifford Reid, and Zachary Celt Peck; Paige Catherine, Riley Elizabeth, and Bailey Margaret Mackey, two sisters, Patricia Kacyon and husband Andrew, and Carolyn Anderson and husband Richard all of Painted Post, NY.  He was preceded in death by one sister Linda Magee.

He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired after 30 years as the senior manager for Beneficial Finance in Bedford.  He was one of the original founders of the Kiwanis Club and also  served on the Bedford Ambulance Board for awhile.  He was an avid golfer and became  part of the barn crew at Down River Golf Course.  He enjoyed hunting small game and fishing.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.   Friends will be received on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
