Clair M. Waugerman, 87, of Manns Choice died on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on August 2, 1937 in Bedford, a son of the late John and Anna (Woomer) Waugerman. On May 31, 1958 in Buffalo Mills, he married Carolee (Holler) Waugerman who preceded him in death on December 5, 2016. He is survived by the following family: two daughters, Janey Leydig and husband Don of Manns Choice, Kay Waugerman of Hagerstown, MD; one son, Jeff Waugerman and wife Melissa of Keedysville, MD; four grandchildren: LeAnn Bobetich and husband Dan, Christine Brocious and husband Tim, Rachel Boyce and husband Ricky, Becca Waugerman; six great-grandchildren; Aubree, Sophia, Kinzlee, Oaklee, Eleanore, and Amelia; one brother, David Waugerman and wife Teresa of Ridgely, WV; He was preceded in death by a sister Helen Foor, two brothers, John Waugerman, and George Waugerman widow Nancy who survives of Osterburg.
Clair graduated from Bedford High School in 1955. He retired as a supervisor from Bedford Rural Electric after 30 plus years of work. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and was a member of the Bedford Masonic Lodge #320 F&AM and the Rocky Ridge Hunting Club.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Pastor Russell Hoffman officiating. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
