Christopher S. Wright

Christopher S. Wright, 67, of Schellsburg, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at his residence. He was born on November 18, 1958 in Everett, a son of the late Harold “Pete” Wright and Carole A. (Semmler) Henry. He is survived by a brother: Stephen Wright of Ebensburg; two step-sisters: Bev O’Henry and husband Bob O’Neal of Lewisberry, and Bonnie Bleicher and husband Brian of Woodbury; two step-brothers: Victor Henry and wife Joyce of Bedford, and Mahlon Henry and wife Jodie of New Enterprise; 11 cousins; and an aunt, Marilyn Jean Wright of Titusville, FL.

Chris worked as a Packer and Forklift operator at Wright’s Orchard for 15 years and later at Ridgetop Orchards for 25 years. He attended Pine Grove Methodist Church and enjoyed square dancing, being a very active member of the Everett Do Si Do’s Square Dance Club. Chris was very faithful to visiting his brother Stephen, finding various activities to get into every Sunday.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Jim Black officiating. Burial at Fishertown Cemetery.
