Chris Davis

Chris Davis, 74, of Altoona, died on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at his home. He was born on January 1, 1950, in Indiana, a son of the late Robert W. and Maxine (Porter) Davis. He is survived by two daughters:  Shawna Davis of Eugene, OR; and Dr. Nisha Davis of Pittsburgh; one sister: Kimberly Davis Shoemaker of Bedford and three nieces: Jessica Condron of Oakmont; Becky Wilson of Bedford; Taylor Shoemaker of Bedford; and a nephew Nathan Shoemaker of Pittsburgh.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Tweedie widower James who survives of Bedford.

Chris graduated from Bedford High School in 1968 and after high school attended Robert Morris College.  Early in his career he worked in home construction and then retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime.  He was a self-taught mechanic that enjoyed working on his hot rod racing truck, and found enjoyment feeding the ducks at his back yard stream.
