Chester C. Mcnally

Chester C. “Pete” McNally, 68 of Younts Road, Bedford, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.  He was born September 28, 1942 in Roaring Spring, son of the late Quentin and Rosie (Butler) McNally.  On June 14, 1969 in Roaring Spring, he married Emily (LeBlanc) and she survives along with three step-sons; Patrick D. Drysdale of Bedford, James M. Drysdale married to the former Laurie Gardner  of Martinsburg, and John K. Drysdale, married to the former Cynthia Isch of Bedford, five grandchildren; Jamie Mountain, LTJG Joshua Drysdale, LT Zachary Drysdale, Meghan Drysdale and Jenna Drysdale.  Also surviving are three great grandchildren; Devon, Emily Jude and Laney Mountain, three brothers; Glenn McNally and wife Marjorie of Buffalo, NY, Donald McNally and wife Rosie of Martinsburg, Ronald McNally and wife Donna, Donna Musselman both of Roaring Spring and Betty Cullen of Rochester, NY.  He was preceded in death by a brother Percy McNally, three sisters; Ruby Bertosino, Caroline and Violet McNally.

Mr. McNally was of the Brethren Faith.  He retired in 2007 after owning and operating Keystone Insulator Cleaner Inc., for 35 years. He was drafted into the Army and served in Korea.  He loved guns and was an avid hunter.

Funeral services: Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with the Rev. Jeff Peeler officiating.   Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
