Charlotte Campbell, 88, of East Street Bedford, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on September 13, 1919 in Washington D.C., a daughter of the late Charles and Veronica (Keene) Mataja. She is survived by a son, John C. Campbell wife Gayle of Woodbridge, VA, a daughter, Colleen C. wife of Joseph Jozefczyk of Burke, VA, a daughter, Mary C. wife of Darryl Miller of Alexandria, VA, a son, David C. Campbell wife Lisa of Burke, Va, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great granchildren . She was preceded in death by 1 sister Mary Veronica Francella.
She was a member of the St Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford and volunteered at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She retired in 1980 after 30 years as a budget analysist for the department of the army.
Funeral Mass: Friday, September 21, 2007, at 2:00 PM from the St Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford, with the celebrant Donald Dusza officiating. Burial in St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.
