Charles Tew

Charles Tew, 69, of Fort Worth, TX, formerly of Bedford, died Sunday, December 15, 2013, at his residence.  He was born on April 25, 1944, in Bedford, a son of the late Ralph E. Tew, and Anna M. (Mowry) Tew. He is survived by the following family: two daughters: Charlene wife of Richard Lefebvre of Newberg, Oregon , Tahra, wife of  Kevin Meshell, of Fritch, Texas, and two sons: Codey Tew, of Amarillo Texas, and Chad Tew, of Fort Worth, Texas, grandchildren; Kristina and Brittney Pinard, Kyndle, Mykah and Tryg Meshell, and one great-grandchild Ali, three sisters: Evelyn wife of John Oldham, of New Paris, Doris wife of Ray Smith of Ashtabula, OH, and Diana Tew, of Bedford; six brothers: Tom Tew, widower of Linda Pringle, of Bedford, Fred Tew, married to the former Ruth Constable of Bedford, Lester Tew, of Fort Worth, TX, Roger Tew, married to the former Bonnie Rush, of Breezewood, Ronnie Tew, married to the former Debbie Sipes, of Bedford, and Steve Tew, widower of Patricia Rodfong, of Schellsburg. He was preceded in death by brothers Ralph, Ken, Ed and an infant brother, Richard E. Tew. And two sisters Hazel and Mary.

Charley was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed, hunting, fishing, camping, and archery.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Les Hutchens officiating, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard. Burial at Burning Bush Cemetery.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
