Charles M. Fungaroli, 70, of Watson Street, Bedford, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. He was born on August 17, 1941, in Bedford, a son, of the late Charles W. and Yolanda (Milanese) Fungaroli. He is survived by a nephew, William Walent Jr. married to the former Angell (Stigers), of Bedford, numerous cousins and friends, and a cat Destiny. He was preceded in death by a sister Judith Ann Walent.
Charles worked at Caro’s Body Shop for 10 years. Starting in the 70’s he worked for 17 years as a Bedford Borough Police Officer and then as a Sheriff’s Deputy. He owned and operated Keystone Locksmith and Fungaroli’s Café. Charles was the last surviving member of his immediate family and will be sadly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9 am till 11 am at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
