Cathy D. (Ickes) Slick

Cathy D. Slick, 59 of Bedford, died Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at her residence.  She was born on November 4, 1956 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Ned T., and Dorothy R. (Logue) Ickes.  She is survived by a brother, Scott Ickes, of Frederick, MD, and a sister Tammy Morris, of Akron, OH; four nieces and nephews: Britnee Davis, Meghan Ickes, Michael Morris Jr., and Rebecca Ickes; three great- nieces and nephews: Kayden, Ayvery, and Harper, and her two dogs, Toby, and Pippa.

Cathy was a 1974 graduate of Bedford High School and worked as a barista at the Bedford Springs Resort.  She was affiliated with the Rainsburg United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge #480, and the Bedford American Legion Post #113.  Most of all she enjoyed visiting and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Mark Lingenfelter officiating.  Burial at Woods Church Cemetery.
