Carol E. Rowser

Carol E. Rowser, 69, of Imlertown Road, Bedford, died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at her home in Oakhill, Fl. She was born on October 27, 1946, in Colver, a daughter of the late Howard E. and Augusta L. (White) George. On April 30, 1966, in Colver, she married Carl F. Rowser who survives along with a brother, Dave George and wife Barbara, a sister, Barbara Verbosky and husband Steve, all of Colver, two nieces and three nephews.  She was preceded in death by a son, Carl “Scotty” Rowser.

Carol was a 1964 graduate and cheerleader at Central Cambria High School and went on to attend Cambria Rowe Business School in Johnstown. She worked at the Bedford Springs and then at Sears Roebuck in Bedford for 17 years.  She also helped her husband with their business Rowser’s Diesel Service. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Bedford American Legion Post 113.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles, her dogs, and cats, and the elk farm she worked with her husband.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Pastor Gifford Swankler officiating, burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.
