Bruce A. Braendel

Bruce A. Braendel, 62 of Lincoln Highway, Bedford, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born January 8, 1948 in Norristown, son of the late Helmuth G. Braendel and Constance (Drysdale) Braendel who survives of West Chester. Also surviving are three brothers; Douglas A. Braendel and wife Camie of Manns Choice, Taylor D. Braendel of Chester Springs and Gregory G. Braendel of Mojave, CA. He was preceded in death by one brother Ronald W.
Mr. Braendel was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Bedford and was a retired banker who had worked both in California and Pennsylvania. His death ends a 43 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was a participant in the local MS support group at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. Burial at St. Peter’s Church Cemetery in the Great Valley at Malvern. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service on Tuesday morning. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Keystone Branch, 506 3rd Ave., Duncansville, PA 16635, in his memory.
