Bracie E. Stiffler

Bracie E. Stiffler, 83, of Jamaica Road, Everett, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on June 4, 1932, in Queen, a daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Benton) Corle. On February 19, 1951, in Cumberland, MD, she married John C. Stiffler who survives along with the following family: three daughters, Miriam Peck and husband Gerald of Everett,  Cheryl Gardner, and husband Karl of Bedford, Lisa Ford, and husband Randy of Meadville; two sons, Robert,  married to the former Jane Gearheart of Hollidaysburg, and Thomas, married to the former Sharon Mills of Everett; seven grandchildren: Matthew, Jeremy, Victoria, Sam, Olivia, Hunter, and Emily,  three great grandchildren;  five brothers: Sheldon Corle and wife Joyce of Osterburg, Ray Corle of Osterburg, Kenneth Corle of Salemville,  Clair Corle and wife Phyllis of New Paris, Theodore "Ted" Corle and wife Miriam of New Paris; one sister, Mary King and husband Edward of Meritt Island, FL.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Corle, and two sisters Ruby Ickes, and Pauline Bailey.

Bracie was a member of the St. Marks Lutheran Church.  She worked at Pennknoll Village and cleaned for various families in Bedford.  She was a member of the TOPS group and enjoyed crafts, gardening, flowers, mowing the yard and working the concessions at the fair and the races.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. David Winehold officiating.   Burial at St. Mark’s Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Friday at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford from 11:00 a.m. until the departure for the church service at 1:00 p.m.   Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
