Bonnie L. (Bowser) Blackburn

Bonnie L. Blackburn, 89 of Bedford died on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on November 19, 1931 in Pontiac, MI, a daughter of the late Russell E. and Vera (Heatherly) Bowser.  On July 29, 1950 in Bedford, she married Robert Barnett Blackburn who preceded her in death on September 25, 2014.  She is survived by the following family: two sons,   Robert B. Blackburn Jr. and wife Dorothy of Everett; Jeffrey R. Blackburn and wife Jackie of Bedford; two daughters, Ann B. England and husband Daniel of Bedford and Jeanette Winesickle and husband Joseph of Bedford; nine grandchildren:  Andrew B. Blackburn, Eli A. Blackburn and wife Michelle; Molly M. Blackburn; Justin J. Blackburn and wife Lisa; Jenna H. Treece and husband Jared; Jeffrey D. England wife Katie; Joel R. England and fiancé Kristi; Robert A. Winesickle and wife Patricia; Christina J. DiFerdinando and husband Matthew; 13 great grandchildren,  Ali, Bella, Nate, Owen, Josiah, Jorga, Jensen, Kaelyn, Hadleigh, Isabela, John, Thomas, and Hannah.

Bonnie was a member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church and volunteered at various organizations in town including the snack bar at the hospital, meals on wheels, and the garden club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, golfing and playing bridge.

Funeral Services will be private.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions in Bonnies name to the Bedford Presbyterian Church, P.O.
