Betty Jane (Wilhelm) Wilson

Betty Jane Wilson 75, of Bedford, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at her residence.  She was born on March 11, 1945 in Cumberland, MD a daughter of the late Clinton A. and Ethel E. (Slonaker) Wilhelm.  On February 23, 1962 in Cumberland, MD she married John C. Wilson, who survives along with the following family: a son Douglas Wilson, of Connecticut, and a daughter Suzanne Marisic widow of Michael, of Bedford; three grandchildren: Benjamin and Morgan Marisic, and Sadie Wilson; three sisters: Margaret “Peggy” Nicholas and husband Delbert, of Cresaptown, MD, Sue Ellen Greise and husband Tom, of Florida, and Anna Beth Dumas and husband Bill, of LaVale, MD.  She was preceded in death by a brother David Wilhelm widow Rose, surviving of Bedford.

Betty attended the Bedford Church of the Nazarene, and was a member and past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Bedford Springs Chapter #41.  She enjoyed traveling, and baking pies and cookies.

A memorial service will be held on August 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bedford Church of the Nazarene, with Pastors Mike and Candi Adams officiating.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
