Betty L. Simon

Betty Lou Simon 80 of N. Chamberlain St., Bedford, went to be with the lord on Tuesday evening, November 26, 2007 at her home.  She was born November 17, 1927 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Charles and Freda (Bookhammer) Hershberger.  On January 20, 1948 in Bedford she married Louis H. Simon and he preceded her in death on October 19, 1968.  She is survived by three children: Therese wife of Maynard Corle of Imler, Susan Wife of Timothy Bowser and Stephen Simon married to the former Cheryl Mull both of Bedford, seven grandchildren: Mike Corle, Joseph Corle and wife Dawnette Jonathan Corle, Faith wife of Justin Mock, Timothy S. Bowser and wife Tracie, Stephen and Jenna Simon, five great grandchildren: Michael, Brian, and Brook Corle and Kenzie and Kaden Bowser.  She was preceded in death by a son Joseph P. Simon and a daughter Mary E. Simon.

Mrs. Simon was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford.  She will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass:  Thursday 10:00 AM from St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford with Father Donald Dusza celebrant.  Burial at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Timothy A.
