Betty R. Price, 92, of Bedford, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home. She was born on October 10, 1923, in Hyndman, a daughter of the late Rebecca Jane Holler. On August 8, 1948, in Friends Cove, she married Bruce C. Price who preceded her in death on January 26, 1997. She is survived by three sons: Russell B. Price, married to the former Darlene Bell of Shippensburg, George C. Price, married to the former Sandy Llewellyn of Bedford, Terry A. Price, married to the former Rosemary Noel of Bedford; 9 grandchildren, and 20 great –grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Larry Price, and a grandson, Rusty Neal Price.
Betty was a member of the Pleasant Hill Bible Church and attended the Bedford Valley Bible Church. She enjoyed bowling gardening, crocheting and decorating T-shirts.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Pastor John Hollis officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 7-9 pm and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
