Bernadette Risbon, 93, of Union Street, Bedford, died Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Hillview Nursing Home, in Altoona. She was born on February 22, 1914 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Charles and Rosa A. (Weicht) Leonard. On July 7, 1932 in West Virginia, she married Gerlad Risbon, and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2006. she is survived by two sons, Kenneth Risbon and Jerry married to the former Darlene Shippey both of Bedford, six grandchildren: Tammy Kendall, Pamela Wilt, Jeri Wilson, Terry, Troy, & Diane Risbon, fourteen grandchildren, Two great great grandchildren, a brother John Leonard of Lancaster and a sister Mary Grasser of Manns Choice, a former daughter-in-law, Bonnie Gardner. She was preceded in death by 1 son John Risbon husband of Rosemarie of New Port News, VA.
Funeral Service Monday, July 30, 2007, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with the Rev. Doug Friant officiating. Burial in Bedford County Memorial Park.
