Beatrice J. Morris, 76 of Fillo Lane, Bedford died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at her residence. She was born June 16, 1934 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late John H. and Evelyn N. (Fillmore) Young. On April 12, 1955 in Cumberland, MD, she married Israel E. Morris and he preceded her in death on September 27, 1982. She is survived by three children; John I. Morris and companion Patricia Russell, Kenneth E. Morris married to the former Dana Caro, and Lisa M. Widow of Dan Jones, all of Bedford. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Israel E. Morris J. Jr., and a sister Alice Steck.
Mrs. Morris was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church but attended Bedford Valley Bible Church. She worked as a private home care giver and prior to that had worked as a waitress at the Hillcrest. She enjoyed embroidering and spending time with her family.
