Barbara E. Wright, 78, of Hall Street, Bedford, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at her residence. She was born on October 17, 1935, in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (DeHaven) Vogt. On March 5, 1955, in East Stroudsburg, she married Ronald J. Wright who preceded her in death on January 31, 2008. She is survived by a son Randall Wright married to the former Carol Roberts of Hershey, a daughter Rhonda Wright of East Stroudsburg, a son Ross Wright married to the former Patti Brown of Powell, OH; three grandchildren: Kelly Wyszomierski, Parker and Katie Wright; three sisters; Peggy Broome of Kannapolis, NC, Mary wife of Tom Whitaker of Concord, NC, and Linda Eselenbach of NJ. She was preceded in death by one brother John Vogt.
Barbara was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church.
A memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bedford United Methodist Church in Bedford with Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Bedford United Methodist Church, 132 East John Street, Bedford, PA 15522. Arrangements by Timothy A.
