Barbara Jane (Wear) Kagarise

Barbara Jane Kagarise, 75, of Everett, died on October 18, 2018 at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born on March 16, 1943, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Louise (Berkey) Wear. On July 21, 1962, in Altoona, she married Theodore J. Kagarise who survives along with a daughter, Kelly S. Houseman widow of Raymond, of Altoona, a son, Gregory A. Kagarise and wife Brenda, of Everett; three grandchildren:  Robbie Houseman, Brittney Kagarise, and Ronnie Kagarise and wife Sharon; four great grandchildren Maggie-Lee, Colton, Landon and Nolan.

Barbara was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church.  She was a 1961 graduate of Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove, and worked for Hedstrom and Ames Dept. Store.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Father Richard Tomkosky Celebrant.  Burial at Everett Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Monday, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
