Baby Ya'Mario Lee “Champ” Franklin, passed away on August 9, 2017 at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born on June 23, 2017, in Pittsburgh, a son of Tico Octavius Franklin and Angela Marie Brown of Bedford. He is survived by two sisters: Alexis Hoover of Bethlehem, and Arneesha Brown at home; two brothers Remonte’ Brown and Marcquis Franklin both at home; maternal grandparents, Cheryl and Brian Hunter of Bedford; maternal great grandmother, Carolyn Stack of Strathroy Ontario, Canada; paternal grandmother, Veronica Pack of Baltimore, MD; paternal great grandparents, Shirley and Robert Pack of Baltimore, MD; godfather, Antwan Barnett, of Baltimore, MD; godfather, Roland Hamilton, of Bedford; godparents, Douglas and Amanda Weyandt of Bedford. He was preceded in death by maternal great grandfather, Thomas Stack and maternal great grandmother, Jacquelyn Garrett.
Baby Ya'Mario was baptized on June 26, 2017.
A memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., at the Mt. Pisgah AME Zion Church, in Bedford, with Pastor Jackie Dewberry officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received on Saturday, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m., at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
