Audrey (Barron) Mccreary

Audrey B. McCreary 85, of Bedford, died on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Altoona.  She was born on October 6, 1936 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Ethan A. and Meredith A. (Emeigh) Barron. On October 22, 1965 in Bedford, she married Roy Edmund “Ed” McCreary who survives of Bedford. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by one brother Blaine Barron.

Audrey was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and worked as a secretary for 36 years at Brown Motors Supply Company.  She graduated from Bedford High School in 1954 and Catherman’s Business School in Cumberland, MD in 1955.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Raymond E. Short officiating.  Burial at Fishertown Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.   Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
