Annie M. Davis 94, of Bedford, died on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. She was born on October 1, 1930 in Woodbury, a daughter of the late Harry Buell and Effie (Carper) Clouse. On March 17, 1948 in Winchester, VA she married Glenn Davis and he preceded her in death on August 14, 2001. She is survived by a daughter, Vickie Fleegle and husband David of Bedford and a sister Dorothy Dodson of East Freedom. She was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Davis, and the following brothers and sisters: Roy Couse Jr., Mable Wright, Mary Hartman, Glenn Buell, James Clouse, Wilbur Clouse, George Clouse, Grace Holsinger, Lucille Brumbaugh, Helen Clouse, Carol Doris Clouse, Delores Snyder and Hartland Clouse.
Annie worked in the restaurant industry managing the Martinsburg Airport, and Five Gables before owning Davis Country Way in New Paris. She enjoyed her poodles, baking and decorating cakes for many people in the area, and was also an excellent seamstress and gardener. She was a member of the Schellsburg VFW Ladies Aux.
