Anne Q. Masterson

Anne Q. Masterson, 93, of Bedford, died Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Bedford Colonial Courtyard.  She was born, on December 23, 1920, in Johnsonburg, PA, a daughter of the late, John and Irene (Weaver) Quigley.  On August 27, 1940, in Hagerstown, MD, she married William H. Masterson, who preceded her in death on December 23, 2006.  She was preceded in death by one brother, one niece, and two nephews.

Anne was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church, and a graduate of Lock Haven High School, and Lock Haven State University.  She was best known by many as an elementary teacher in the Bedford School District, having taught there for many years.  She was active in the Retired Teachers Association upon her retirement.  Anne enjoyed reading and playing bridge.

Funeral Mass will be held On Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Thomas Catholic Church with Father Donald Dusza Celebrant.  Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Lock Haven.  Arrangements by the Timothy A.
